JADE FROST

Jade Frost is an experienced, freelance theatrical director, designer, producer, stage tech, and performer, comfortable inhabiting numerous roles within individual projects.

In the years since their undergraduate degree Jade has worked on a number of long-term productions, gaining leadership experience and a breadth of technical skills. Successful pursuits in her field were the result of diligence and dedication, an eagerness to learn, careful attention to detail, creative problem solving, perseverance, and excellent communication.

She has directed a total of 14 productions including immersive dance theatre, plays, operas, devised performance, and an opera as a feature-length film.

Jade is also an experienced performer in a wide range of forms, including Tap, Modern Dance, Group Improvisation, Clowning, Butoh, Physical Theatre, Plays, Operas, and Musical Theatre.

Currently, they are a company member with Ambo Dance Theatre in Louisville, KY, a collaborative Modern Dance company, where they also teach Non-traditional Contemporary Partnering, Group Compositional Improvisation, and Tap.

Jade was born and raised in Hildesheim, Germany and is bilingual.
